CONNECTING WITH CAMBRIDGE CHURCHES
The Ambassador Program was birthed out of the desire to help the centre connect and build meaningful, lasting relationships with our Cambridge churches and churches in surrounding areas. The goal of this project is to help increase awareness of the Dawn Centre's mission, vision and services by having members of local churches become an ambassador and keep their local church up to date with regular notifications of our programs, outreaches, and fundraisers.
We strongly believe that word-of-mouth is an important way to inform our community of our support services.
SOMEONE ATTENDING YOUR CHURCH MAY BENEFIT FROM OUR SERVICES.
YOU MAY KNOW SOMEONE IN YOUR COMMUNITY WHO MAY BENEFIT FROM OUR SERVICES.
WHO CAN BE AN AMBASSADOR?
We are in need of women and men of Christian faith that have a passion for this ministry, who are members in good standing of a church, and are willing to fill this unique position.
QUALIFICATIONS

Express full agreement with the clinic’s purpose, mission and vision statements, the Sanctity of Human Life statement, the statement of faith and our core values.
Express full agreement with the clinic’s Code of Ethics And Professional Conduct, and Lifestyle Standards policy.
Have a keen interest in supporting the Dawn Centre through church involvement, agrees to the Ambassador orientation, is committed to the guidance and direction of the centre’s executive director, client services coordinator, and their home church’s leadership team.
Are able to actively listen to church members that may be in need of Dawn Centre services, keep information confidential, and direct clients to the Dawn Centre.
Are able to encourage church involvement for Dawn Centre clients interested in growing in their Christian faith.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Be a point person for church-goers that are interested in Dawn Centre services.
Be aware of our services and direct clients to the centre. Detailed information on our services will be provided to potential clients by staff members only.
Be willing to connect with Dawn Centre clients who are interested in church involvement.
Be willing to meet Dawn Centre clients before services and explain details of your church programs. Make them feel welcomed and answer any questions they might have. Inform your church leaders of any specific spiritual needs that the client may have.
With your church leaderships permission, provide updates of the Dawn Centre's campaigns, such as the Blessings Bottle campaign, fundraisers, etc.
With your church leaderships permission, provide updates to any centre program changes.
Attend Dawn Centre meetings and keep up to date with information sent to you by the Dawn Centre.
One year commitment (minimum).
